FIRST Get the latest v1.24b Patch, AND THAN YOU CAN START SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS


WARNING: 1.23 / 1.24 Patch users, if your map doesn't show up, you need to shorter her name into something small like DotaAI+.w3x

1. If your DotA doesn`t wont to open , (when you click it , it won`t start, it just goes back), you`ll need Warcraft patch 1.24 . When you download it, just execute him, and the patcher will do the rest. You will now have 1.24 (the newest version). If you don`t know which version you have, just open warcraft 3 and look down -


If you use NON-ENGLISH version , you may want to go HERE. Scroll all the way down, and chose your language.

2. Here is the BMP's AI map v0.21 , its the only map for v1.24b. When you download it, put it in your x:\xxxx\warcraft3\frozenthrone\maps\Download (or whereever you want, since you won`t play this map on internet )

3. All new AI maps are always pinned at the top of the page, always check there!

4. For all of you that have LAN problems like "Could not connect problem" please see if you disabled all firewalls and similar programs (anti virus, spyware remowers...).

Don`t forget to insert computers , GL & HF all.

P.S : If you still need older versions ( for previous AI maps ), follow this guide. It will also allow you to watch replays for older Warcraft Version. No need for Version Switcher. Also, don't forget to backup your original files.

You need to put the Downloaded maps into you Warcraft III\Maps\Download in Download Folder .

3. If you did, do you have installed Warcraft 3 and The frozen throne?

4. if yes, what did it report? you must tell me why it doesn`t work.

Your game supposed to be English, otherwise we may not be able to help you because this forum supports Eng version of WC3 only and most of members have Eng Warcraft. ( If you need WC3 Patch for French or any other version, just follow the link, since Blizzard supports them ).

after i patch i run w3 frozen throne to play then it says "Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on Retry" if i crack it, more errors occur so i just patch it again...

When I play AI not in lan but solo mode, I have biig lags after a moment... In lan, no problem.
Why ? is that normal ? is there any solution ?

Ofcourse!! Do you have original version of Warcraft 3? If not, then search your crack by yourself, we are not allowed to talk about piracy in here!

You mean Single Player mode? If yes, then its your computer, I have Sempron 2600+, 512 Ram, 80Gb SATA HDD, some shitty Graphic card with 64ram , and everything works fine at my home.

Ofcourse it does !! Same as already said! Search for your own 1.21 crack, I won`t help you in here!

if doing what the message says after patching (Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on Retry) is not helping, then the problem is beyond this topic's help. We should not encourage any further action on that.

First check that both computers have same versions, and than check firewalls, but I think that it is firewall, because I had that problem too, and I solved it whit turning off firewalls!

Well, since he didn't post crack itself, or link to crack, it's ok. We all know what crack is and what it does, no need to discuss it here. In this case I suggest to download No-CD image, its legal and helps people that have official CD-Key, but without game CD itself.

There is no download file Folder?

You have to patch your version of WarCraft III: TFT to the latest (1.21) either by:
A: Clicking on the Battle.net button on the main menu of warcraft.
or
B: Going to the following link and downloading the patch.
BattleNet Patch/The Frozen Throne Patch Information.

Download the Universal Patch and Be sure you are using original CD-key of ROC : TFT means no Cracks/Keygens and stuff like that. We are not allowed to talk about Cracks/Keygens and similar stuff.

Better Post your problem at Technical Support Section.

Double click the Universal Patch and it will do everything for you.

What is the exact error message that is displayed when you patch via the Battle.Net button ?

Have you ever used any No-CD programs? or anything else like that?

When you run the Manual Universal patch make sure you run it without having anything else running in the background.

To scenarius : If you own Official Version of the game ( Patched it ) , but don't have CD, download No-CD image, its legal, you may use it to connect official BNet servers, If you'll use pirated software, you may not be able to play on officials. I really don't want to hear ''Crack'' here anymore.

when i connect to battle net... it shows downloading data...then "Cannot write datafiles to your hardisk, please check your space blablablabla" i wonder because i have more than 3gb free space avalaible, can anybody help me please, thanks..

well try to patch it independently. download the patch manually and apply it to your wc3. for the links to download, just see the first post here, and follow the instructions.

Try to update your WC3 to latest version, it should help, check Dota AI FAQ thread on top for patch.

i have 1.07 version and i downlaoded 117a and 121a patch...both english

but when i play my game i have errors. it says "The ordinal 754 could not be located in the dynamic link library War3.exe."

then if i click ok it says "couldn't open Game.dll."

then i click ok again it says "Please verify that your Frozen throne disc is in your CD-Rom drive, then click on 'Retry'...

Try to download No-CD image ( Use Google ), if you don't own official CD, image may help you. You may need Daemonic Tools / Alcohol to mount it.

i think i'll just give up..i dont know too much about computer staffs...but tnx for the help..

@ ongkikok : You may use Alcohol 120% or Nero Image Drive to mount No-Cd Image, just download it and open Read Me file for help.

The only link he ( I ) can give you is link to official Alcohol site > http://www.alcohol-soft.com. I'm not sure but it has 30 days limitation, links to other sites for this program are not allowed. You may use Nero Image Drive or Daemonic Tools to mount image too.

You need Registry Fix patch, it will put all required data into your Windows Registry. Use google to find it.

Registry Fix Patch is small .reg file, all you need is to type Warcracft 3 Registry Fix, and Google will give you links to sites. Download it and then put it into your WC3 Folder, run it, press ok, and Patch should work properly.

@ Cp6uja : I need your help ( screenshot guide ) , I see people have problems with patching, and most of them may not find answer or they simply dont know what Win Registry is or how to modify it, I have program that automatically fixes this problem, but its Russian ( I guess you know Russian a little ). still it is very easy to use.
