[TOOLtip] Kelen's Dagger, Flavor text change Options

As it stands the flavor text for Kelen's Dagger is

The fabled dagger used by Kelen, the fastest assassin ever to walk the lands of Azeroth.

In the spirit of other interesting flavor texts such as branches and quarterstaff, I propose that it be changed to

Only works if you have a recent history of pacifism.

Remember numbers can be changed; vote on concept.

Go forth and vote, lobby icefrog, etc. etc.

A flavour text is supposed to put some lore history into an item, or something like that.Not supposed to only give the actuall way of working of the item.

If you were proposing to add this as an addition to the allready existing text, yes, but to replace kellen with pacifist is awful.

Fortunately for me the poll does not have a way of accounting for the largeness of your misguided thumb.

That doesn't really add to lore...it is just a little bit of humor. Sort of like for Mask of Death, "The phattest lewt" isn't really lore. The "[...] Kelen's [...]" part is lore, the "[...] pacifism [...]" part is just humor. As Gazae said, "flavour text is supposed to [provide ...] lore [...] Not supposed to only give the actuall way of working of the item." So it is really just item details/humor, not lore.

personally i find "dota lore" to be rather pointless. i would much rather get a smile out of reading a bit of wit then some random blurb that has nothing to do with my enjoyment of the game.l

But as others have said, just the piece of text you suggest is rather unfitting. Combine it with some parts of the current tooltip and you're sure to get better results (everybody likes fun stuff squished in the tooltips).

this would be a much needed fix to icefrog's oversight. you see, kelen already has a dagger in ladder, called "kelens dagger of escape." this is obviously not the same dagger because it has a different name and only works if you have a recent history of pacifism, unlike kelen's superior blade. kelen would be disgusted by anyone foolish enough to call such a worthless weapon his own. shame on you dota-lore-care-abouters.
