Dota Hot Keys v1.06b
Download --- Description: This program is made from AutoHotKey scripting. It was basically the result of me being bored of DotA for 2 days and getting tired of having to run both w3hph and EasyPack at the same time. I also dislike the QWER setup A LOT, so this program lets you only remap your inventory hotkeys to the numeric 4 and 5 (which is all you'll need, really). What it Does: -Show Ally HP -Show Enemy HP -Disable Windows Keys -Quick Chat Commands -Remap Inventory Buttons Please give this one a try and tell me what you think! - Also, please note that AutoHotKey programs can sometimes be identified as keyloggers by antivirus programs. You may have to turn off some of them while playing... I never use any antivirus programs anyways, THEY'RE SCAMS!! If you have any doubts, here is the jotti virus scan results, do it for yourself if you want. (Note that Troj.Spy.W32.Agent.btl is found in ALL autohotkey scripts. Go here for reference. - I added the source code if you want to check it out and compile for yourself. Seems very nice, I was running the dotahotkeys.ahk version instead of the exe. so I ran threw the program file you had there and I didnt come across any keyloggers or such (And no way for it to report if it did). I didnt fuddle around with the exe file as the ahk file is so nice.
I'm guessing the disable windows key is just to keep the method the program runs from letting you quit unintentionaly so I didnt notice much there. Alt+tab still works so thats a plus. I'm sure I will get used to the alternate inventory buttons in time and its really nice thats included too. Another nice thing is that this program has a very small memory requirement. Of course it works as intended and shows both ally and enemy units hp bars. And you have options to turn any of these selections on or off so you can do what you like. The only problem I had was having to control+caps lock every time I returned from an alt tab... perhaps I am doing something wrong? It seems to reset the hp viewer when you do. Maybe its something that could be changed? |

Echotracer, thank you for trying out my program.
About the alt+tab, I'm still trying to find a way to get AutoHotKey to detect if the window is active and turn on the hp bars itself. Still trying, it's hard when your working with fullscreen games. hopefully I can get that fixed in a new version. |

Sorry about not replying, but to answer your question, no. There are ways to put mana bars into the game by editing the map itself, but all my program does is hold the [ and ] keys down, which show enemy and ally hp.

Thanks for the response. Anyway, i love your program. I've noticed something and decide to mention it in case of upgrading the soft. Every time i alt-tab and then switch to WC, the software seems to turn off. It's not a big deal to turn it on every time but i feel it should be automatically. Wanna know what do you think about that?

I've tried to figure out a way to detect if the warcraft 3 windows is active so the program can keep sending [ ], but AHK doesn't work well with full screen windows. it's good at knowing when the window isn't on, so it doesn't send [ and ] while your not playing warcraft iii.

It seems when I try to edit my quick chat commands.. the changes never ever stick. Like if i change the -ma one (F7 i think) to -clear, and click OK... and go back to it... it still says -ma... and still quick chats -ma. Is something up?

I've noticed that too but solved it with just changing the .ini file in the DHK's directory. Try it. |

Hey, Vinthian, can you give us little tips about you working on next version or fixing bugs or anything else? I'm really curious to find out how the DHK development is going on. Cheers. |

Yeah, I saw the bug with the saving system. I'm gonna look into it and try to put out a new version, but until then, you can always close out the program and change the ini, and restart it. I set mine for -di, top mia, mid mia, bot mia.

Hey. I was wondering if you can attach "loading at start up" function to the soft. I know it doesn't require installation and therefore it may not consist that thingy but it would be great.
Cheers. |
