Havnt had a chance to play it yet, still at work.

So lets discuss the exact changes. Probably a huge amount from 6.47 tongue.gif

This changelog refers to changes from 6.46b to 6.48. 6.47 was temporarily reduced, but recalled due to severe stability issues with the new hero.

6.48 Changelog
===============

* Added a new hero from the Model-To-Hero contest (see below)
Puck, the Faerie Dragon. Details below.

* Added a new ability for Animal Courier to change its model.
Self explanatory.

* Fixed Planeswalker's Cloak and Hood of Defiance stacking issues on various heroes' innate magic resistance abilities.
Theoretically no longer a need to "properly" stack them.

* Fixed an old rare bug with Leshrac (and recently Storm) that would cause them to constantly drain mana.
Not sure about the bug, but it's allegedly fixed now.

* Fixed a bug when killing heroes with Crow
Sometimes Crow kills (dagon crow, etc.) would cause a crash. This has been fixed.

* Fixed Flesh Heap to work properly with suicides
Previously, Suiciding with Flesh Heap caused erratic behavior. (At level 4,) sometimes it would increase your STR by 0.2, and other times it would decrease it by 0.8. Now Suicide will not affect your STR.

* Fixed a bug in -dm -nd that causes the hero after Bristleback to have Warpath if Bristleback dies with the buff on, and the player quickly picks a new hero.
Self explanatory.

* Fixed the game mode text to display in proper order
Self explanatory.

* Fixed Starfall doing extra damage on the second hit
Self explanatory.

* Restored Freeze Hero functionality
You might remember this from 6.46. You can put leavers on their Circle of Power and "freeze" them, making them immune to damage etc.

* Added a command -test to enable single player commands to be usable in multiplayer for easier extensive testing
Thanks, Ice! Self explanatory.

* Added new command '-terrain snow'. This transforms the current terrain into a snow terrain. This is a very experimental mechanism and is still very much a WIP in the visuals department.
Adds a visual effect to the map (like -weather). I don't think you can go back to grassy (Azeroth) once you're in snow (Northrend). You must type -terrain snow in the beginning parts of the game.

* Fixed Death Pulse to hit properly non-magic-immune Ancients
Self explanatory.

* Improved Alchemist's movement speed a bit
290 -> 300
Chemical Rage now also gives more ms, 0/5/10 -> 5/10/15 -Astros

* Increased ranged creep's mana pool
200 -> 300

* Rebalanced Sanity's Eclipse (Less damage, better leveling)
Old Sanity's Eclipse:
If you have more INT than they do, you will deal 10/12/14 damage per int difference.
If you have less than 10/30/50 more INT than they do, you will reduce their mana by 75%
600/600/600 range
400/500/600 AoE
160 cooldown
200/250/300 mana cost

New Sanity's Eclipse:
If you have more INT than they do, you will deal 8/9/10 damage per int difference.
If you have less than 10/30/50 more INT than they do, then you will reduce their mana by 75%.
600/650/700 range
400/500/600 AoE
160 cooldown
175/250/325 mana cost

How exactly is this better leveling? Either I or IceFrog made a mistake somewhere.

* Improved Harbinger's casting animation time
Cast Point 0.5 -> 0.25 (one of the lowest in the game now)
Backswing 0.51 -> 0.51

* Fixed a visual glitch with Dispersion that would make it look like it did more Dispersions than it actually did
It would display the animation twice for each Dispersion.

* Fixed a bug with Unstable Concoction when used during the transformation of Chemical Rage
There will be 3 ways to go if you are still channeling Unstable Concoction but your Chemical Rage is gone:
1. You will lob one at it at the time you transform back into the normal form, but this doesn't count as finish casting it, you will still lob another one afterward, resulting in lobbing a total of 2 Unstable Concoctions at a same target;
2. You will stop channeling and lob it at the target at the time you transform back into the normal form; or
3. Just as the same as that in .48 -Astros

* Fixed a bug with Greaterbash
No longer works on images. Also the cooldown has been increased to a reasonable amount.

* Improved Lion's movement speed a little
280 -> 290

* Fixed Panda's Storm Wind Walk stats
Fixed an unintentional nerf from 6.46 or 6.45. There's a thread about this somewhere in Mechanics...

* Game now gives an error message when attacking Roshan from a disallowed area
Self explanatory.

* Added -nr(-norepick)
Self explanatory.

* Added -mute as a custom player command to disable kill sounds
Self explanatory.

* Fixed a bug with Weave and Reincarnation
Previously if you died with Reincarnation with Weave, you would feel the effects permanently. This has been fixed.

- Lots of effort was made to fix stability issues with the map. Either this or 6.48b will be the new stable version, depending on reports after it gets played in the open for a bit first.

- Congratulations to the final 8 and everyone that participated and voted in the hero contest. Vodoun's hero was the primary selection with one ability from coldlikehell's hero. Once again, thanks to everyone participating in contest.

As I remember from 6.47 the cooldown of Sanity's Eclipse is 160/150/140 now and does cost less mana, but i don't know the value, if at all.

The bug with Storm and Leshrac was, that you still lost mana even after turning off Pulse Nova or Electric Rave.

EDIT: Mana cost of Harbringer's Ultimate now 175/250/325

That new Attack Animation is damn fast...

I'm still updating a lot of the values in my post. If the tooltip says "150" for Sanity's Eclipse, it's lying. It's 160 at all levels in both 6.46b and 6.48.

If all is working properly, then that is accurate.

I'm not sure. I think it's user variant (i.e. what one user sees isn't indicative of what another user sees, like -weather), but I haven't done any tests on this yet.

Only host can do -terrain snow before anyone picks a hero, everyone will see the effect, and you can't change it back once it is changed.

I think once this is fully worked out it could be very cool, to add some slight variation to games.
