ARMY.Metro: Would you like to introduce yourself?
TeG-Bird: Hello I'm Bird from The Elder Gods. I'm 22 years old and I live in Bucharest. I've played Dota for the last 3 years constantly. In the past I was a solo player on normal wc3 but since Romania couldn't support us in major tournaments like ESWC, ECG, WCG, etc. I stopped playing solo ladder. Me with 2 of my friends started to play competitive Dota. We are one of the oldest teams in Europe.
TeG-KuKu: I'm the leader of TeG DotA, and my life mainly consists of university+dota.

ARMY.Metro: What are TeG starters? What's their role on the team?
TeG-Bird: Me, Eviscerator, Rushmeplz are the 3 TeG founders. KuKu and Rainwalker were added this year, Freezer & Kanga were added 2 months ago and are now the key of the team.
TeG-KuKu: Well the main players are Bird, Rushmeplz, KuKu, Kanga, Freezer and Rainwalker. We recently added nIKe to our lineup, but he won't be playing for the moment.
Bird usually plays solo lane, he is the most experienced player and his micro is outstanding, being the best warcraft 3 player in Romania.
Rushmeplz plays intel support heroes, and he is very important because he plays Chen in sentinel.
Rainwalker plays intel support and strength heroes, just like me.
Freezer plays all kinds of heroes, and he is one of the best QoP's or Sand Kings I know.
Kanga can play any type of hero, he is an all-round complete player, just like the rest of the team.

ARMY.Metro: What has been your best experience with the players on the team right now?
TeG-Bird: Well for us Romanian tournaments aren't important, only international tournaments matter. So far the biggest tournament we won was Dota.Pickup tourney with 30 top Europe teams. We were very excited because we used a strat never beaten that time. 4-2 in the finals vs Q. Sentinel Dagons strat. KOTL mid, Tinker Rhasta bot, Maiden Chen top or something like that. All 4 dagon, Tinker meka perma refresh. It was imba.
TeG-KuKu: My best experience has been winning the dota pickup tournament 1 year ago, being the first major event in the dota scene. We overcame teamQ in the final, coming from the loserbracket to win 4-2. And maybe also our latest performance, qualifying for the MYM Pridex final.

ARMY.Metro: Do you remember your favorite game? If so, could you tell us a little about it?
TeG-Bird: See last question answer ^^.
TeG-KuKu: Haha, yeah I remember it because it's 1 week old . It's the allpick game against coL in the MYM tour quarterfinals. We had a Chen strat for the -ap and they countered it very well in the beginning with an agressive Enchantress stalking Chen in the woods, but as the game progressed their pushes on our lower rax proved to cost them the game. There were some VERY intense fights, and I think Bird and Kanga (Lich and Viper) decided that game for us. Rushmeplz also did a nice trick, stealing Beastmaster's bird all the time, giving us scouting advantage. I can mention Bird items on Lich: BoT, Aegis, Mekansm, Stygian Desolator, Hyperstone, Gem .I was Vengeful Spirit that game, every1 focused me but I sacrificed for the team .

ARMY.Metro: What side do you feel is stronger? Sentinel or Scourge? And which side do you prefer to play?
TeG-Bird: Sentinel is imba, I prefer Sent .
TeG-KuKu: Sentinel is obviously imbalanced, all the top teams NEVER lose their sentinel games. I prefer to play sentinel because its honestly pure rape, game control from minute 1 to the end ^^. 90% of the sentinel games are like that, there may be some exceptions ofc .

I really think TeG deserve a lot of cred for their endurance, just like Bird said. There used to be a time when TeG ruled the DotA scene, from then to PriDeX I havn't seen TeG as one of the top teams. Remember this one game when TeG got badly beaten as sent and Bird did HoM on CM...that was like an all time low. See a lot of teams just giving up at first set back. It takes time, dedication and endurance to get to the top.

Today, with Kanga and Freezer, TeG is back on top. Biggest difference is how this clan think outside the box, innervating new strats like using BS, brood and drow. I'm looking forward to see more exciting hero choices from this team.
