HERE I WILL POST ALL ANSWERS AND LINKS FOR ALL OF YOU WHICH DOTA DOESN`T WORK. ASK WHATEVER YOU WANT.

FIRST http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/pc/War3TFT_124b_English.exe, AND THAN YOU CAN START SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS


WARNING: 1.23 / 1.24 Patch users, if your map doesn't show up, you need to shorter her name into something small like DotaAI+.w3x

1. If your DotA doesn`t wont to open , (when you click it , it won`t start, it just goes back), you`ll need Warcraft patch 1.24 . When you download it, just execute him, and the patcher will do the rest. You will now have 1.24 (the newest version). If you don`t know which version you have, just open warcraft 3 and look down -


If you use NON-ENGLISH version , you may want to go http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/pc/. Scroll all the way down, and chose your language.

2. Here is the http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.php?showtopic=296788 , its the only map for v1.24b. When you download it, put it in your x:\xxxx\warcraft3\frozenthrone\maps\Download (or whereever you want, since you won`t play this map on internet )

3. All new AI maps are always pinned at the top of the page, always check there!

4. For all of you that have LAN problems like "Could not connect problem" please see if you disabled all firewalls and similar programs (anti virus, spyware remowers...).

If you have path patching problem , this is your solution:


Don`t forget to insert computers , GL & HF all.
I will answer at any question, which is connected to malfunctioning of DotA and post it in here.



P.S : If you still need older versions ( for previous AI maps ), follow this http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.php?showtopic=117698. It will also allow you to watch replays for older Warcraft Version. No need for Version Switcher. Also, don't forget to backup your original files.

You need to put the Downloaded maps into you Warcraft III\Maps\Download in Download Folder .

3. If you did, do you have installed Warcraft 3 and The frozen throne?

Your game supposed to be English, otherwise we may not be able to help you because this forum supports Eng version of WC3 only and most of members have Eng Warcraft. ( If you need WC3 Patch for French or any other version, just follow the link, since Blizzard supports them ).

after i patch i run w3 frozen throne to play then it says "Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on Retry" if i crack it, more errors occur so i just patch it again...

Ofcourse!! Do you have original version of Warcraft 3? If not, then search your crack by yourself, we are not allowed to talk about piracy in here!

You mean Single Player mode? If yes, then its your computer, I have Sempron 2600+, 512 Ram, 80Gb SATA HDD, some shitty Graphic card with 64ram , and everything works fine at my home.

Ofcourse it does !! Same as already said! Search for your own 1.21 crack, I won`t help you in here!

I thought we're only talking about legal copy of Warcraft III/TFT!
if doing what the message says after patching (Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on Retry) is not helping, then the problem is beyond this topic's help. We should not encourage any further action on that.

First check that both computers have same versions, and than check firewalls, but I think that it is firewall, because I had that problem too, and I solved it whit turning off firewalls!

Well, since he didn't post crack itself, or link to crack, it's ok. We all know what crack is and what it does, no need to discuss it here. In this case I suggest to download No-CD image, its legal and helps people that have official CD-Key, but without game CD itself.

There is no download file Folder?

You have to patch your version of WarCraft III: TFT to the latest (1.21) either by:
A: Clicking on the Battle.net button on the main menu of warcraft.
or
B: Going to the following link and downloading the patch.

Download the Universal Patch and Be sure you are using original CD-key of ROC : TFT means no Cracks/Keygens and stuff like that. We are not allowed to talk about Cracks/Keygens and similar stuff.

Better Post your problem at http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.php?showforum=234 Section.

Double click the Universal Patch and it will do everything for you.

What is the exact error message that is displayed when you patch via the Battle.Net button ?

Have you ever used any No-CD programs? or anything else like that?

When you run the Manual Universal patch make sure you run it without having anything else running in the background.

Where WarCraft III is installed??
Is it installed to C:/Program Files/WarCraft III ??

To scenarius : If you own Official Version of the game ( Patched it ) , but don't have CD, download No-CD image, its legal, you may use it to connect official BNet servers, If you'll use pirated software, you may not be able to play on officials. I really don't want to hear ''Crack'' here anymore.

well try to patch it independently. download the patch manually and apply it to your wc3. for the links to download, just see the first post here, and follow the instructions.

M8 i have errors please help me....

i have 1.07 version and i downlaoded 117a and 121a patch...both english

but when i play my game i have errors. it says "The ordinal 754 could not be located in the dynamic link library War3.exe."

then if i click ok it says "couldn't open Game.dll."

then i click ok again it says "Please verify that your Frozen throne disc is in your CD-Rom drive, then click on 'Retry'...

Try to download No-CD image ( Use Google ), if you don't own official CD, image may help you. You may need Daemonic Tools / Alcohol to mount it.

The only link he ( I ) can give you is link to official Alcohol site > http://www.alcohol-soft.com. I'm not sure but it has 30 days limitation, links to other sites for this program are not allowed. You may use Nero Image Drive or Daemonic Tools to mount image too.

You need Registry Fix patch, it will put all required data into your Windows Registry. Use google to find it.

Registry Fix Patch is small .reg file, all you need is to type Warcracft 3 Registry Fix, and Google will give you links to sites. Download it and then put it into your WC3 Folder, run it, press ok, and Patch should work properly.

@ Cp6uja : I need your help ( screenshot guide ) , I see people have problems with patching, and most of them may not find answer or they simply dont know what Win Registry is or how to modify it, I have program that automatically fixes this problem, but its Russian ( I guess you know Russian a little ). still it is very easy to use. Pm me ( Email ) and I'll send it to you.

winrar is an archiving program. Like winzip.

1. Download Winrar.exe from the link I provided you.
2. Then install it (just press "next" until it finished if you confused).
3. And now you can "extract" the NO-CD Image file you have download before
   (do just exactly like the first post shows you: right click on the file > choose "Extract to blablabla")
4. After that, you start working with Alcohol, drag extracted files to your Alcohol 120% window.

You know you only have to add a certain key in your
registry to make your auto patch work.

The InstallPath is what you should add:
(but change it to the actual path of your Warcraft 3 - this one is just an example)



There're two ways to do that:
A. You add it manually from regedit.

1. Run.. > type "regedit"
2. Open this folder in your regedit: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III"
3. Right click on the "Warcraft III" > select "New..." > select "String Value" > rename it into "InstallPath"
4. Double click on the key you have created (InstallPath), and type the path to your WC3 folder (in this example, it's "E:\\Warcraft III")
5. Then press OK, close your regedit, and try to run your patch again.

B. You add it manually from notepad.

1. Copy the code above.
2. Paste it in notepad.
3. Edit this part:
   CODE
   "InstallPath"="E:\\Warcraft III"
4. Save as "wc3.reg"
5. Then close the notepad, double click the file wc3.reg you just created.
6. Press ok to the prompt question.
7. Run your patch again.

okay im getting it what is AI.But for the updating,there are still problems.I play frozen throne by copying my fren's pendrive and paste it on my program files.It seem that when the updater(1.20-121) is launched it say patch failed and calling me to uninstall and reinstalling it again.Should i? oops.gif

The Reason is missing Registry info ( open Replay folder and you'll see W3G file ) Windows doesn't even know how to open it. You need Registry Fix for WC3 ( I hope Cp6uja will post it soon ), there's another perfect program to fix your WC3 problems ( called WarRun , but it is russian, maybe I'll ask Cp6uja to make guide to it too, but not now ).

haix...i tried with the registry fix on a video to fix the problem.It a success to update it to 1.21 but when i updated it i open frozen throne it say

"Frozen Throne was unable to detect a disc in your CD-ROM drive"
"Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive,then click on 'Retry'"
[Retry] [Cancel]

now its even worse...cant play DotA at all
what should i do now?!!

You need No-CD Image, ( First Page ), follow the guide, and you wont have any problems. FYI : WC3 will ask you for CD after patching, and without Original CD, the only legal way to play is this Image. So Reg Fix from the first Page worked?

Im done with all the No-Cd Image thing.Installed Alcohol.And successfully open frozen throne with the version of 1.21.But the battle.net say "you may be trying to connect to an invalid battle.net server.If you are using a modem,you may need to manually connect to the Internet before connection to battle.net."

yeah that happens to all of us too. That has nothing to do with the patch.
The problem is on the scripts itself. This version has memory leak, that's
why it crashes. The only thing you can do is to save game state from time to time.

Don't worry, RGB's map cannot damage your PC / WC 3 copy, so if you get it everytime, then try to play his earlier version, or wait for new one.

I am not sure how it can be played, but I also do not think that the official version is out yet. The official versions of DotA Allstars map can be found on the official website - http://www.getdota.com/. Don't think that I do not want the Artificial Intelligence (AI) map, because I am just as eager to download the map as you are. If you would like to know if it is actually going to be released, I recommend that you PM IceFrog. After all, if anyone knows anything about DotA, it is IceFrog.

how can i solve auto restart?

You have to patch your version of WarCraft III: TFT to the latest (1.21) either by:
A: Clicking on the Battle.net button on the main menu of warcraft.

I already patched the 1.21 but still I have this "Not enough storage is available
to process this command" whenever I play the lazyfiend AI map I always get

The problem maybe your W3TFT. If its not that remake your folder that contains your DotA maps.

Try to re-download the map. Your map might be corrupted or something.
The widely known fact is that fatal error only occurs *while* you play the map,
not when you are *about to create* the game..

That's pretty far fetched. 1-5 is correct but #6 is for drastic measures if your patience has reached its limit.
Anyways, don't download AI maps from epicwar. Download it here or ask if there are any other websites that has the map you're looking for.

which patch you are talking bout? fake cd (for warcraft..) still can be patched.. but you'll have to find the new crack for the new version of patch you've used. It will still works.

You should download No-CD image, get it from Page 1 ( this topic ), follow the guide how to mount images and thats all. Note : Each time ( after patching ) , WC3 will ask you for CD, use Image, and game will work.

FYI : Pirated versions of WC3 can be patched by official patch.

you have to mount it over and over again after you shutdown your computer, maybe because you're using the trial version. All you have to do is purchase the alcohol software

Tips:
1. Tell blizzard that's your cd went missing, they'll help you.
2. Use another tool to use the virtual cd. Like daemon tools.

The best solution is Daemon Tools Lite version ( v3.47 ), its free, has no limitations and has very usefull options ( like autostart and automount image ) so you won't need to mount image everytime you boot / reboot your PC. ( Supports up to 4 Virtual CD Drives ).

1. Make Sure you have latest Drivers for your Graphic Card ( Could you tell use what it is? Geforce, Radeon ).

About Save Game, some users reported that save-game option doesn't work well ( loaded games crashed ), so just ignore that, ( its map's problem ).

About Reg Setup : program works, it doesn't give any notifications like ''Done'' or ''Fixed'', but it works, it allows you to patch your WC3 to any version.

About Modified Exe file you have, you cannot connect to official Bnet server if you use ''Crack'' , instead, you should use original exe file + No-CD image. Note you should also have valid CD-KEY to play on official servers.

If you mean No-CD image, and reg fix, check Page 1. If you mean CD-KEY, then buy the game ( Both TFT and RoC ) from Blizzard Shop ( 40$ ).

Edit : Remember, you may use CD-KEY only for one PC, do not share your CD to someone as you may lose your CD-KEY or Blizzard will Ban it.

Great work!

Anyway, I got a problem

Everytime I start TFT and load any Dota AI map the game crashes after approximately 5 minutes ( FATAL ERROR ). Re-install won't fix this error.

And yes, I'm using the 1.21a patch for my german TFT.

Any solutions?

It happens everytime after 1 to 15 minutes. I started playing DotA with v5.59 on LAN, then I discovered the AI+ versions and downloaded 6.38b AI+ ( I think ). With every newer version I used the FATAL ERROR appears more often and earlier. So now I can't play any DotA for longer than ~ 15 minutes. Weird!?

I'm playing on my PC, using original WC3 + TFT + 1.21a german patch ( + fixed no-cd .exe, but also won't work with original .exe + CD ).

XP3200+
GeForce 6600GT ( Forceware 163.75 WHQL )
1GB DDR PC400
Abit NF7S-2G ( Forceware 5.10 WHQL )

CD-KEY is inside of War3.mpq file ( major file over 400 mb ), you may use his CD, but remember :

1. If he's online ( B-net ), then you may not connect, since CD-KEY will be active for 1 user only.

2. There's chance that Blizzard will ban CD-KEY ( because they do IP checks ), too many IP changes, and key is banned.

I suggest you'll use Keygen and will change CD-KEY ( CD-Key changer is necessary, download it ), but then you wont be able to connect to official servers, ( only unofficial ones ). Another way is, you won't connect to Bnet at all, ( Single and Lan games only ).

Try to reinstall the game ( uninstall it, and remove all information from Windows Registry ), then instal it into another directory, Patch it again, and your problem should be gone.

That could be because of Map, if you play v6.49 AI ( DAII ), then you may experience some lags. If Lazyfiend's map ( v6.48 ) check if AI has Lanaya ( may cause Lags ). Also could you tell me your Hardware : Graphic Card, Ram, CPU, and sound card.

Edit : Make Sure you have the laters Direct X installed ( 9.0c ), to check it :

Press Start > Run > Type ( DxDiag ) , it will pop up the window with all DX info.

Also Make sure you have the latest Drivers for your Sound and Graphic Card.

To play DotA Allstars, you must start up WarCraft III: TFT,
go to Local Area Network -> Create Game
And select the map from the list, Set Open Slots to Computer (Easy/Normal/Insane) and then press Start.

When your on the main menu of WarCraft III:TFT, down the bottom right hand corner there is a number. If it isnt 1.21 (http://xs218.xs.to/xs218/07336/Main.jpg) then you need to download the latest patch for WarCraft.
You can do it automatically by clicking the Battle.Net button and it will download and install for you.
or
You can download the patch from the following link and then running it.

I've downloaded the latest Patch, and everything works fine. Except Battle.net, but I will take care of that myself later.

I meant to show you my problem.

I have downloaded Alcohol 120% Trial, and all the needed files, and I want to do the, 'No CD Virtual', because sometimes my DVD driver messes up.

Anyway, I downloaded it, and messed a bit with the CD, and then Frozen throne appeared, but after I ejected the CD, it requested the CD. I inserted the CD to check if it still works, but my computer didn't recognize it. It said, "Please make sure the CD is in the CD Rom."

Does this work on Vista? Is it because my Alcohol is on trial? Did I mess up everything (As usual)?
I got to the last part. I dragged the images on Alcohol, but when I double click on the "Warcraft III" file, it doesn't respond. Should I right-click and do something else?

Please help me.

This is what you should do :

1. Uninstall Alcohol 120% trial completely. ( Also manually delete info from Windows Registry )

2. Download and install Daemon Tools Lite ( Visit this link > http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5 ). This one does support Vista and is the latest one. You may also Use Daemon Tools Lite v3.47. They are free and have no limits at all!

3. From Windows Tray, ( you'll see Red Lightning Icon ), choose Virtual CD-Rom > Device X ( Number ) > Mount Image > Path to Image. Also check Options > Autostart / Automount ( turn them on, Tick ''V'' ).

4. About Image, don't worry, no one can open it directly, all you need is to put it somewhere and then mount it using DT's.

All these will allow you to play WC3 v1.21 ( both on official & unofficial Bnet Servers ) without CD, + there'll be no need to mount CD each time your reboot your PC.

Now I don't know what to do after this. Should I take the image from its place and place it somewhere then mount it?
Haven't I already mounted it when I activated Auto mount? What is mounting exactly?

Ok, I'll try to explain about that.
- Image: when you copy an entire disc, and "pack" it into one file (like a file archive), we call that file is an "image" of the disc. You can imagine it as a ZIP file (although they are not totally alike). The common image file extension are *.iso; *.nrg; *.vcd; etc.
- Mount: "Mounting" is the process of making your storage device "acknowledged" by your computer. Windows makes everything automatic, so mounting process actually runs in the background. So basically, plugging a pendrive/external HD or inserting a CD/DVD is what we called "mount" in general.

In this context, mount means "inserting" your image file into your virtual drive (like Daemon Tools/Alcohol120%).

So in your case, if the DT shows this:

then it means you've "inserted" the Warcraft CD on Drive D:\.
Check it on your file explorer, or just try to play WC3.
If you can play it, then you're all set to go.

Basically, you don't need that stuff anymore. Since patch 1.21b, you don't need a CD to play the game.

Thanks everyone. I just realized how awkward that sounded. I just played Warcraft III and it works perfectly.

The only problem left is that when I want to connect to Battle Net, the game says that my CD code is invalid.

Should I uninstall it and then install it again and use a generated one?

To play on the Battle.net you need to have the original CD Key (Purchased).
Are you sure you're not using the pirated version?
Or never share your WC3 CD Key to anyone else?

I haven't encountered any problems with it yet, despite several people's reports. My only problem was that I had to reinstall the game. But that was my fault, I had done a BAD job with my no-cd crack, so I couldn't update properly.

Mine is original, actually.

However, I think the problem is that I regestered the CD Key before, uninstalled Warcraft III, and then installed it again with the same key...I regestered the version before, and skipped the regestration here.

What should I do? Both CD Keys are actually used by me. :S

That's normal. That's what I did, I registered only the first time I installed the game (years ago), then used the same keys when reinstalling, I never had problems.

Are you sure both your keys, RoC and TFT, are authentic?

TFT is authentic, however, Riegn of Chaos is used by my friend, having lost my own. He hasn't logged/ regestered in Battle.Net though, so I am in question.

No don't use the generator. It will not do u any good to connect to b.net.
Well, if you're sure about having the original CD-Key, I think you should just report it to http://us.blizzard.com/support/webform-us.xml?gameId=5.
For the time being, you can still try to connect to other game client.

The question then is whether your friend's RoC key is authentic too. To play on Bnet, both your RoC and TFT keys needs to be authentic and used only by you at the moment you try to connect.

And forget generators, Blizzard is too good.

After you installed, When your on the main menu of WarCraft III:TFT, down the bottom right hand corner there is a number. If it isnt 1.21b (http://xs218.xs.to/xs218/07336/Main.jpg) then you need to download the latest patch for WarCraft.
You can do it automatically by clicking the Battle.Net button and it will download and install for you.

You can download the patch from the following link and then running it.

No cd virtual is no longer needed since patch 1.21b. To play on Battle.net, you need original cd-keys for ROC and TFT.

Check your firewall settings. For instance, if you're using Zonealarms, it would ask you for permission to allow Warcraft 3 to access the network. However it sometimes freezes, which prevents you from allowing it access. If you do have a firewall enabled, I suggest you manually check the settings.

excuse me, juz wanna know about something..

i played on LAN and see people who enter the game has a number counting beside their nickname starting from 0 to 100 maybe...some numbers count very fast, some are very slow and usually host will kick this player. so why have numbers? does this have something to do with their internet connection? slow maybe? is there a way to prevent this from happen? coz sometimes i also kind a be in this situation

That number shows the percentage of the map download if the player doesn't have the map. I assume that by "LAN" you're referring to a virtual LAN service like Hamachi, since the map should download in the blink of an eye in a real LAN.

You have some serious problems here. I really (but really!) suggest you to uninstall both Warcrafts (and erase their directory if it left) and install:
1. Warcraft 3 RoC
2. Warcraft 3 TFT
3. http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/pc/War3TFT_122a_English.exeand install it (do not pause-resume download, it may crash!)
4. Copy Dota map in your x:\xxxx\warcraft\maps\frozen throne\Downlaod

Do not install any cracks (if you are . . .) because, crack is no more needed, it is CD free game

PS: If this didn`t help, tell me what have you done, and what doesn`t work.

No, you don't.

When you visit the patch update site (no link ATM), you don't need to click the full update. You need to click the other update, which only converts 1.21b to 1.22a.

Other than that, Battle.net updates it for you as well.

If you have some problems, I suggest you decide to reinstall the game and download the FULL patch.

A strange thing... I am using 1.21b and it works fine... I have a friend with crashes everytime he launch dota (game would crash at the start, or at the first creep spawn or after 4 min etc. but still crash)
so because he was 1.21b too we decided to install 1.22 (to keep playing together without version problem) and then... none of us is even able to see a game in local area network... I tried with two pc in the same room and no game is showing... we've tried using hamachi and it didn't work... My friend don't want to use Battlenet (probably because of his version I guess...) well we return back to 1.21b and games are showing (but his pc is always crashing '-- I'm not asking about the reason of the crashes because it's probably something about his pc... it's a new one and he is experiencing crashes everytime he tried dota... too bad he used to love this game but he won't be able to play anymore)
So what could be the reason 2 1.22 versions couldn't see eatch others ???

The only reason one cannot see others' room is because he has a different patch version or in a different network.

So I guess maybe some of the files associated with the patch installation was corrupted. Try to apply the patch using the method on http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.php?showtopic=228498. If it's still not working, he should try to re-install his Warcraft III TFT, and re-apply the patch one by one (v1.18 -> v1.20 -> v1.22 this is necessary to make sure he has all the patch files installed properly).

Also when playing in LAN, you may want to turn off the firewall.

I had a legal copy of frozen throne on my laptop. but since it is a somewhat old pc i decided to copy the game on to my new desktop.(cant seem to find the original cds anymore). while the game works fine on the laptop (v1.22), on the desktop there seems to be some bugs with the dota map. cant see projectiles of sentinel towers and some heroes (viper, necrolic etc) and the there is nothing inside the sentinel Ancient of wonders shop.also the icons of some heroes in taverns have been replaced with a photograph of bearded man (I have presumed that this is the icefrog) with some hero names also been replaced with the tag default string(E.g. drow ranger syllabear). Other than that the game works perfectly. Any help with fixing this bug will be gratly appreciated.

p.s. also re-patching does not seem to work although I have fixed system registries and such

Try different Dota Maps. If that fails, then you should Install ( not copy ) WC3 game from CD. These are the only solutions in this case.

Thanks guys. but manged to solve the problem in a weird sorta way. I cut pasted the warcraft folder to a different partition and suddenly now everything is fine. cannot figure out how that could solve it but am happy it did . anyways thanx for the suggestions.

I´ve ran the faq about not workin dotas but couldnt seem to find a prober answer .

My Dota AI Map just doesnt show up in the Mapfolder / the regular dota version 6.59d shows up. i tried to copy it into different folder with the same outcome...no dota ai map shown, but its there... i also tried downloading it from the getdota-source and a mediashare-link in the op

i hope you´ll get me some help soon, would be great...thx in advance...cheers...

i have patch 1.23 and trying to download the 6.59d ai map at getdota. when i download it i cant see it anywhere in the map list, and if i try to watch a replay it also says i dont have it. Ive tried putting it in frozen throne scenario maps and the regular warcraft 3 maps and i still cant see it in the list.

Did you try rename the map shorter? Example: rename it to DotA Allstars 6.59 AI+ or something else or if you're lazy to do it, download the latest "revision AWESOME" by BMP, it should work.

Hi Im a noob to dota and since i instaled the new win i have a problem. Every time i run dota 6.61b i get this error http://img27.imageshack.us/i/damnubr.jpg/ But when i run dota 6.41 no problems at all. My friend has the same problem after a fresh instalation of the windows has the same problem. My win is Xp professional x64. My rig is C2D e8400 4gb ram ati 4800 1gb. Use greedisgood with negative value, simply type greedisgood -xxx where x is the amount of gold you would like to remove ( 3000 - x = y ) where y is the actual amount of gold you both will have. If you want to do the same with human player, ( in lan ), use -test and type gold command.

I read different threads and downloaded nearly every AI Version i found but i dont get the map to work. Without Bots it isnt a problem, but everytime i want to start an AI map, i simply return to the map selection menu. and im not able to choose any bots.

i renamed the file to get shorter (ai.w3x) but without changing something. And yes, i got the newest patch, the neweset dota version and the latest ai version.

There's your problem. Take a look at a few posts above, 6.59/6.61b AI+ maps don't work with 1.24, you'll have to go back to 1.23 (reinstall, unless you were clever enough to create a backup). Or, wait for an updated AI+ map (no ETA or anything, just be patient).

I'm having a problem with my dota AI map.
I have already downloaded the lastest version. the 6.62b v 0.211
but this map doesn't appear in the maps.
I have the older version which is 6.62 v 0.21 and this map is present. it shows up. And i can play a dota game.
I really wanted to try the new map in which BMP has posted unfortunately I can't.
Is there something wrong with my warcraft? any help would greatly be appreciated.

BTW, my version of warcraft is 1.24.1.6374
Is this the same as 1.24b?

I finally got it working..

I don't know how and why but the map just suddenly appeared after downloading and putting the latest version in the maps folder.. Non-AI. The one you get in getdota.com..

Not sure about language change, but for the latest dota map, you needthe latest v1.24b patch, in your case, for chinese version, wich does exist and is available for download. Basically, all AI maps, except the latest ones ( v6.62 AI and above ) do work on v1.21, feel free to choose any of them.

i read about 6.62 AI map and came to know that it has still got lot of bugs ,game crashes so is it worthy to upgrade my patch just to play that map?and it says that i wouldn't be able to play other maps after upgrading to patch 24.b. sorry but my internet connection is too slow and downloading patch is not a joke and i even don't know which patch is the correct one as there are two Chinese version patches.

Well it's your call. But I think you will eventually have to upgrade it anyway, so here's something to assure you. You can always revert back to your old patch version after you upgrade. No worries.

There are various methods to do that, and the easiest way is by using version switcher. You can search for that. The other method is by restoring certain patch files to your WC3 folder manually. Here is the tutorial >> http://forums.dota-allstars.com/index.php?showtopic=117698
